The Verdict is in and....
we are approved! The insurance company called today and Dave's treatment is covered! You know we have been talking about small victories, but I'm putting this one down in the big victory category. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. You know what they say, It takes a village...

Hi Dave and Mandy,
That is outstanding news. All I can say is, Everything comes to those who wait on the Lord! One more hurdle past and on to the next and the next...
We are praying for you guys,
Doyle and Rita Painter
Dave and Mandy,
Congrats on getting the Insurance folks to comply. I think you're making an excellent choice with the Rituxin/Epratuzimab trial. Don't know too much about Epr., but monoclonal antibodies like Rituxin tend to have milder side effects than chemo, so it's probably the best choice, given your circumstances. Good luck with it all. I'm looking forward to following your progress.

Whew-hoo!!!!!!!!!! Some people ask if God is still at work today, well I believe you can answer that with a great big "YES"!!!!!!!!! Shane told me you were trying to get this covered under insurance and I know that more time than not, insurance companies will not cover trial procedures and said so to Shane. Shane looked at me and said something to the effect of "Well I guess we will just have to pray about it because God can do it"!! What a relief for you. Will be praying for you today (Wednesday) Dave!! Whew-hoo!!
